Whether you only use it to write checks or put your computer there and spend eight hours a day in front of it, a good writing desk is a must. Make sure it is ergonomically correct for your size, has a good adjustable chair and enough storage for papers, hanging folders and supplies. A beautiful writing desk can make it more pleasant for you to spend hours working in your den and can be the starting point to the decoration scheme for that room.
